Sports Recreation
- To provide a safe environment to play. We require safe playing conditions, physical facilities and playing equipment for our players. We forbid weapons, tobacco, alcohol, and illegal drugs at our facilities.
- To provide a fun environment to play. We encourage everyone who participates in our program to use sports as a means to enjoy the game, each other and themselves.
- To provide an environment to develop important living skills. We emphasize the development of players independently as individuals and interdependently as a team. We emphasize the value of individuals to set goals, persevere to reach those goals and measure their success in reaching goals. We emphasize the value of citizenship by acting as a team to set, work towards and reach goals.
- To provide a positive role model for players. We require all participants in our program to show one another respect and to exhibit good sportsmanship. We recognize that winning and losing is a valuable part of competitive events, as it is both a measure of performance and a tool to teach players how to win and lose graciously.
- To provide opportunities for all players, of all skill levels to challenge themselves in a competitive environment. We emphasize that all players can be successful in our program, if success is properly defined by parents and coaches.
- To provide a model program for youth sports.
